Prerana Architects & Associates

We are up on the 2nd floor at 20/2 on 4th Main in Malleshwaram. Prerana Architects & Associates has been tucked away in this building for some time. It’s a bit of a walk up the stairs but it’s a good spot once you get here. The office is usually filled with the sound of fans and the clicking of keyboards. We have a lot of large windows that let in some light, which helps when we are looking at detailed plans. Our team is small, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. One day you might be measuring a bathroom and the next you are sitting through a long meeting about structural beams. We don't have any shiny reception desks or people in suits. It’s a very casual environment where the main goal is just to finish the work on time. Malleshwaram is a nice area to work in, even if the traffic on 4th Main can be a bit much during rush hour. We have stacks of blueprints from years ago piled in the corner because we never seem to get around to throwing them out. Most of our clients are local folks who want to renovate or build something new. We just try to give them clear drawings so the builders don't get confused by the instructions. It’s a straightforward way of doing things and it has worked for us so far. We are just here doing the drawings every day.
