Prema Constructions

Prema Constructions is basically us doing building work in and around Bangalore. We’ve been at this for some time now from our place at 1426, Southend A Cross in Jayanagar 9th Block. We spend our days managing the laborers and making sure the bricks and cement show up when they are supposed to. Bangalore traffic makes that a challenge sometimes, but we manage somehow. We aren’t a massive firm with big glass buildings, just a local setup trying to get projects finished. Most days are spent on site or here in the office talking to people about their plans. It gets dusty and loud, which is just how construction is, I guess. We handle various types of building tasks, nothing too flashy, just solid work that people need. Sometimes we are doing renovations and other times it is a whole new structure from the ground up. The 9th Block is a good place to be based, even if it gets crowded in the evenings. We just keep our heads down and focus on the current project until it’s done. It’s hard work, especially when the monsoon hits and everything slows down. We try to keep things moving though, because there’s always someone calling about a wall or a roof or a floor. It keeps us on our toes and out of trouble for the most part. It is a living, and we just keep at it day after day.
