Praveen Sundaram Photography

I have been working out of 19 7 Serpentine Road for a while now. Kumara Park West is a relatively quiet spot, which suits the way I work. Praveen Sundaram Photography is not a big corporate agency with a fancy reception desk or people in suits. It is just me and my gear. Sometimes the light is good, and other days you just have to work harder to make it look right. People come by the studio on Serpentine Road and we talk about what they need. I grew up around this neighborhood, so I know where the good spots are and how the shadows fall in the afternoon. A lot of the job is just sitting and editing, which people do not see as much. You can spend hours staring at a screen just to get one shot to look the way it should. My neighbors probably see me messing with lenses all the time. The space is simple and there is no big neon sign or anything. You just look for the door near the seventh turn. It gets pretty busy when wedding season comes around, but most days are just regular work days. I do not really have a big sales pitch. If you need a photo, I am here at the studio. It is practical work. No magic is involved, just knowing how the equipment works and being in the right spot. (246 words)
