Prateek Arts & Crafts

We've been here at number 554 on Sampige Road for quite a long time now. If you know Malleshwaram, you know how busy it gets between the 13th and 14th cross. Most days start with us just pulling up the shutters and dusting off the shelves. People walk by all day, mostly heading to the market or just cutting through. Prateek Arts & Crafts is just a small spot where we keep a variety of things for people who like making stuff or need supplies for a project. It’s not a fancy showroom or anything like that. We have stacks of items that sometimes get a bit disorganized when we’re busy, but we usually know where everything is. The shop isn’t huge, so things are tucked into every corner. It can get a bit cramped if more than three people are inside at once. Malleshwaram has changed a lot since we first opened, but this street still feels the same. We see the same faces every morning when the tea stall nearby opens up. We don't really do much advertising or anything because word of mouth usually works for us. If you’re looking for something specific for a craft or an art piece, we probably have it buried somewhere in here. Dealing with customers takes up most of our time, and we try to keep things straightforward. No big talk, just selling what we have and making sure the shop stays open until the evening rush ends.
