Prakira Ventures - Design & Construction

We set up Prakira Ventures over on Kuvempu Road, right across from the Indian High School. If you see the Amma Ashrama Arch, you’re basically there. It’s a quiet enough part of Mariappanapalya. We do both the design side and the actual building part. It’s a lot of drawing on computers then going out and seeing if it actually works on the ground. Most days we are covered in a bit of dust from the sites. The office is at number 478. We’ve got a few desks and a lot of blueprints lying around. We aren't big on fancy titles or anything like that. Just a bunch of us who know how to put a house together. We spend a lot of time talking to clients about what they want and then trying to figure out how to make it fit the budget. It’s not always easy, but we’ve been at it for a while now. Gnanabharathi is a good area to work from. We like being near the school, it keeps the area lively. We don't have a big marketing team or anything, just word of mouth mostly. People see what we build and then they ask us to do something for them. It’s straightforward work. We show up, we do the design, we manage the labor, and we try to keep things moving along. Nothing too complicated about how we run things here. We just like to build things that stay standing and look decent.
