About Prakash Photo House – Safety & Security in Bengaluru
I’ve been sitting here at Prakash Photo House for a long time now. We are right on Avenue Road, near the Sonal Cross Road intersection, which is always noisy with traffic and people shouting. The shop isn't very big, and honestly, it gets a bit cramped when more than three people walk in at once. We have cameras sitting on the shelves and old frames leaning against the walls that I really should dust more often. Most days it’s just about clicking passport photos or helping someone figure out why their old camera isn't clicking right. The light in the morning hits the front window in a weird way, so I usually have to pull the shade down halfway. People stop by on their way to work, sometimes just to ask for directions because this part of town is a bit of a maze. We’ve got a small stool for customers to sit on, but one of the legs is a little wobbly, so you have to be careful. The computer we use for editing is getting slow, and it makes this humming sound that you eventually get used to. It's just a regular place, nothing fancy at all. We keep the door open to let some air in, even if it brings in the dust from the street. If you walk past the Sonal Cross Road, you’ll see our sign, it’s a bit faded from the sun.
