Micro Monofilament Textiles

You can find us on the first floor at No. 38 D/1, over in Prakash Nagar. We are right on the corner of First Main and First Cross. Being on the first floor means we get a bit of a breeze, which is nice when the weather gets hot. Micro Monofilament Textiles is a bit of a mouthful of a name, but what we do is pretty simple. We work with threads and monofilaments for all sorts of uses. The room is usually filled with the sound of winding machines and the smell of raw textiles. It’s a small operation, really. Just a few of us making sure the tension on the lines is right and the spools are winding correctly. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a sales team. Most of our work comes from people in the neighborhood or businesses that have used us before. We spend a lot of time just looking at threads. It might sound boring to some, but there is a certain satisfaction in seeing a perfect spool ready to go. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it doesn't bother us much. We are more interested in the work than the surroundings. It’s just a normal day-to-day grind here in Prakash Nagar, and we’re quite happy with that. We just keep our heads down and finish the batches.
