We are based right on Race Course Road in Bangalore, which is a pretty central spot to be. Number 32 has been our home for a while now. Being in the 560001 area means we are right in the middle of all the city's hustle and bustle. The traffic outside can be pretty loud, but inside we are focused on managing the power grid. We have a lot of people coming in and out, from engineers to administrative staff. It's a busy place, and there’s always something that needs attention. We don't have much time for fluff or decorative things. The walls are mostly covered with charts and schedules. It’s a practical environment because that’s what the job requires. We spend a lot of our day on the phone or in meetings, trying to figure out how to keep everything running smoothly across the region. Sometimes the work is repetitive, like checking the same data points every hour, but it’s important. We’ve all been at this for a long time, so we’ve seen how much the city has grown and how the demand for power has changed. Our team is a mix of older folks who have been here for decades and some newer faces. We just try to get the job done without too much fuss. It's a solid place to work, even if the parking around here is a nightmare most days. We are just a group of people who know how to keep a grid running. We don't need any awards or special recognition for it. It's just what the day calls for.
