Potted Paradise

Potted Paradise is tucked away on the 16th Cross in Ramagondana Halli, just off Sampige Road. It’s easy to miss if you aren't looking for the greenery. We mostly deal with plants and pots, as the name says. The shop is filled with a bit of dirt on the floor sometimes because we're always moving things around. It smells like wet earth and leaves in here, which is nice compared to the exhaust from the street. We started this because we liked growing things and it just turned into a business. There’s no big warehouse, just the space we have and a small area in the back for potting. We carry some standard stuff and then whatever we find that looks healthy at the market. Sometimes the plants grow faster than we can sell them. It gets a bit crowded in the aisles. We tell people how to keep their ferns alive, even if they don't have a green thumb. It's a lot of watering and checking for bugs every morning before we open up. Sampige Road is always busy, so this little spot feels like a break from all that noise. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just selling plants to people who want some green in their house. Sometimes we forget to turn the sign to open, but we're usually inside anyway if you just knock on the glass. We like to keep it simple and just let the plants do the talking.
