We’ve been doing this for a good number of years now over in Mathikere at number 36. Water is a tricky thing and once it starts getting into a building, it just doesn’t stop. We spend most of our days looking at roofs and walls that have seen better times. It’s messy work sometimes with all the chemicals and the cleaning that has to happen before the actual sealing starts. The crew usually shows up early because you want to get as much done as possible before the sun gets too hot or the rain starts coming down again. We have our small spot here where we keep the drums and the brushes and all the stuff we need for the jobs. Most of the folks who call us are just tired of seeing damp patches on their ceilings. It isn’t fancy work, just putting on layers and making sure things are tight. We know the streets around Mathikere pretty well by now. Sometimes the traffic makes it hard to get the gear to the site, but we manage. If you walk past our place, you’ll probably see a few of us sorting out the supplies for the next day’s shift. We don’t have a big front office or anything like that because we are usually out at someone's house or a small shop trying to find where the leak is hiding. It’s what we do day in and day out.
