If you are looking for our shop, we are right there in Rajarajeshwari Nagar, inside the Balaji Emporium building. We are actually located just below the State Bank of Travancore, so it is pretty easy to find if you know where the bank is. We spend most of our day looking at frames and helping people who can’t see the signs across the street anymore. It gets a bit crowded in here on Saturday afternoons when families come in together, but usually, it is just a steady flow of folks needing a new pair of glasses because they sat on their old ones or lost them somewhere. We have a lot of different styles sitting on the shelves, some that look quite old-fashioned and some that are more modern, I guess. We do the testing right here, so you don’t have to go somewhere else first. The lights in the shop are quite bright so you can see how the colors look on your face, which is important if you are going to wear them every single day. We’ve been in this spot for a bit now, and we know most of the people who work in the nearby shops. Sometimes we just sit and wait for the courier to bring in the new lenses we ordered. It’s a simple setup we have here, nothing too loud or flashy, just a place to get your eyes checked and find something that fits.
