Our building is right there in the thick of it. Since we are in the poultry business, things are always moving fast. We aren't out on a farm here; this is where the logistics and the planning happen. We spend our time talking to suppliers and checking on deliveries. It’s a lot of phone work and looking at schedules. Sometimes the smell of the city is all you get, but we are used to the urban environment. The team here is pretty casual. We wear regular clothes and grab tea from the stall downstairs. We don't have big meetings with presentations; we just talk across the desks to get things sorted out. It’s a practical setup for a company that deals with live products and fast-moving food chains. There’s no gold plating on the walls here, just white paint and maps of the distribution routes.
