Petit Wamba Clinic

You have to head up to the third floor of Tower B to find us. We’re right on Old Madras Road, so the traffic outside is pretty much constant. If the elevators are busy, it’s a bit of a climb, but most people don't mind. The space we have here isn’t huge, but it works for what we do. We’ve got a few rooms partitioned off. One for exams and a little area in the back for storage and stuff. The light comes in pretty well from the windows since we are up higher. On some afternoons, it gets quite bright. We usually start the day by checking the messages and seeing who is coming in for the day. It’s mostly local folks from the nearby apartments. They bring their pets in carriers or on leashes. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the small waiting area if three people show up at the same time. We try to keep the place smelling clean, but with animals coming in and out, it’s a constant battle with the mop. The front desk is just a plain wooden table where we keep the ledger. We don't use a lot of high-tech systems, just a pen and paper mostly. It’s a straightforward way to run things. We just stay focused on the animals that are right in front of us. Most days go by pretty fast because there is always something to clean or someone to talk to.
