Pelecan Group

This is Pelecan Group. We operate with Mr. Prabir Bishnu Chowdhury. It’s a more personal kind of setup than those big firms you see in the papers. We don't have a huge office building with a logo on top. We work more directly. It’s mostly about managing things and making sure the right people get the right goods. Mr. Chowdhury has been doing this for a long time. We handle various tasks that come our way. Sometimes it’s about sourcing and other times it’s about moving things along. We don't have a lot of staff. It’s a small, tight group. We spend a lot of time on the phone and checking our emails. It’s a lot of individual attention to the work. We aren't trying to be the biggest group out there. Working with Mr. Prabir Bishnu Chowdhury is pretty straightforward. We don't have many meetings. We just talk about what needs to be done and then we do it. The office setup is very simple. We have a couple of laptops and a printer that sometimes jams. We handle a lot of the communication ourselves. It’s a lot of writing things down on pads of paper. We don't have a website with fancy photos. We just talk to people plainly. Sometimes we meet at local spots to discuss business. It’s a very practical way of doing things. We don't have a fixed routine because every day brings something different.
