Peenya is a busy place. Our shop is at No 423 on the 11th Cross in the IV Phase. If you know Bangalore, you know how the traffic gets around here. We spend a lot of our time looking at small parts and making sure things fit together like they should. Making instruments is slow work. It isn’t something you can rush through if you want it to work right. The building isn't brand new, but it holds everything we need. We have the lathes and the testing benches all set up in the main room. Usually, the 3rd Main road is full of trucks and people moving crates. We’ve been in this spot for years. The staff has changed a bit, but a few of the guys have been here since the start. We mostly just focus on the drawings and the metal. It’s a lot of measuring and checking again. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten at the desks. We don’t really do big meetings. If something needs fixing, we just talk about it on the floor. It’s just a manufacturing unit trying to keep up with the orders. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. You just walk in and see us working. It gets the job done and we go home. It is a solid living and we do it well every single day. The machines are old but they still run fine.
