You can find Thermica India at 25 2 Soladevanahalli, right on the Hessarghata Main Road in Peenya. Being on the main road means we get a lot of noise from the trucks and buses passing by all day. It’s a very industrial part of the city. Our building is a big functional space where we handle thermal and insulation work. It’s often quite hot inside, which I guess goes with the name of the company. We have a lot of heavy materials stacked up in the back. The front office is just a few desks and a lot of binders filled with technical specs. There’s usually a bit of dust on everything because of the construction nearby. We’ve been here at this Hessarghata location for a long time. The staff mostly comes in from the surrounding areas. We take our breaks together and usually talk about local news or the traffic on the way in. The building doesn't look like much from the outside, just a plain gate and some signage. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we’re usually too busy with the actual work. It’s a busy, noisy, and productive place to be. Sometimes we have to shout a bit to be heard over the machinery, but we’re all used to it. We keep our tools organized as best we can, though it gets messy by the end of the shift.
