Metier Pet Pvt. Ltd. is based in Peenya 2nd Stage. We are in Maruthi Industrial Estate at No. 52. Peenya is the heart of the industrial side of Bangalore. It’s always loud here with machines running and trucks reversing. The smell of grease and metal is everywhere. We are in the 4th Phase. Our unit is just a functional space without any marble floors or air-conditioned lobbies. We focus on our production. We make things for the pet industry, mostly plastic parts or containers. It’s steady work. We have a crew that has been with us since we moved to this shed. They know the machines better than anyone else. We don’t have a marketing department. We don’t even have a sign that’s very big. If you are looking for us, you just look for No. 52. We deal with a lot of heat in the factory area. The summer months are the toughest for the guys on the floor. We try to keep the workflow smooth but something always breaks down. That’s just the nature of manufacturing. We spend our weekends catching up on maintenance. It’s not a 9-to-5 job really. It’s more of a 24-hour worry for us owners. But we’ve built something solid here. We are proud of the stuff we send out, even if it’s just small parts. Peenya is a tough place to work, but it suits us fine.
