Cable Tech

Working out of B- 311 on 7th Main in Peenya 2nd Stage is about as busy as it gets. If you are looking for us, we are right near 14 Cross, which is always packed with trucks and delivery vans. Cable Tech is basically just a bunch of guys who know a lot about wires. The space is filled with huge spools of cable and the sound of crimping tools. It’s not very quiet here. Sometimes the power goes out in the area and we just sit outside on the steps until it comes back on. We’ve got a small office tucked in the corner with a computer that’s seen better days. We don't do much fancy stuff. People call us when they have a technical problem and we see if we can fix it with what we have in stock. The shelves are labeled with markers that are starting to fade. We lose our pens all the time. It’s a bit chaotic but we know where everything is. The 7th Main road is always dusty, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the equipment. It’s a practical place for practical people. We don't have a big sign out front, just a small one on the door. You just have to know where to turn off the main road and head toward the back of the building. It’s simple work but it keeps us busy every day with all the technical bits.
