Asn Industries

Our workshop, Asn Industries, is located at C-70/1 in Peenya III Stage. Anyone who knows Bangalore knows that Peenya is a massive place where everything from small screws to big machine parts gets made. We are just one small part of that huge puzzle. The traffic getting here in the morning is always a challenge, and the noise from the other factories nearby never really lets up. Once we’re inside the gates, the focus is on the work. We’ve got a mix of old machines and some newer ones, and there’s always something that needs oiling or adjusting. The floor is concrete and hard on the feet, but we’ve got used to it over the years. We aren't the kind of place that has a big reception desk or a person to answer the phones with a script. Usually, whoever is closest to the phone picks it up, even if they have to shout over the machines. We do our work, pack it up, and send it out. It’s a lot of repetition, but there’s a certain rhythm to it that we like. We see the same delivery drivers every week and we know the tea stall guy down the road by name. It’s a community of workers here. We don't make big promises or use fancy words. We just show up, do the job at C-70/1, and head home to do it all again tomorrow.
