P V Pai and Company is situated in Malleshwaram, on Temple Street right between 8th and 9th Cross. We’re up on the 2nd floor, so you have to walk up some stairs to get to us. Malleshwaram is one of those areas that still has its old charm, and being on Temple Street means it feels very traditional and grounded. Our office is quite simple, with the usual stuff you’d expect at a chartered accountant’s place. There are stacks of files, some old ledgers, and our computers. We’ve been here for years, and we’ve seen the streets outside change, but our routine remains mostly the same. We handle the taxes and audits for folks around here and some businesses further away. It’s a lot of sitting and counting, making sure everything is where it should be. We don't use any fancy software that promises to change the world; we just use what works. Sometimes the bell from the nearby temple rings and reminds us of the time. It’s a nice place to work. We don't have a big marketing budget or a polished website. Most people find us because they’ve known us for decades or their parents used to come to us. We just keep our heads down, do the work, and try to be helpful in our own small way. It’s a living, and we’re glad to be doing it here. We take things as they come and just keep working through the piles.
