P Dot G Constructions operates out of Shanthi Park Apartments in Jayanagar 9th Block. Specifically, we're in Building 4, unit number 703. It’s a residential area, so it’s a bit different from a standard office park, but we like the atmosphere here in Bangalore. It feels more like a community. Jayanagar is a great part of the city, and being in the 9th Block puts us close to a lot of what’s happening. Our office is basically a converted apartment, which gives us plenty of room for our drafting tables and computers. We spend a lot of time looking over blueprints and talking to contractors. It’s not a shiny corporate headquarters, but it’s comfortable and it works for us. Sometimes the elevator in the building is slow, or there's noise from the neighbors, but that’s just part of being in an apartment complex. We've been here for a while and the security guards know us well. It’s a practical base for a construction company. We focus on getting the buildings up and making sure the details are right. Most of our staff are usually out on-site, so the office stays fairly quiet during the middle of the day. If you drop by, you’ll probably find a few of us buried in paperwork. Our balcony overlooks some of the trees in Shanthi Park, which is a nice break when we’ve been staring at the computer for too long. We have samples of tiles and wood scattered around the rooms, so it can feel a bit cluttered, but it’s a working office, not a showroom.
