Oscan Elevators

We've been running Oscan Elevators from our place at Parvatamma Nileya on Kuvempu Road for a while now. It’s a busy spot in K.R Puram. Most days we are out on sites across Bangalore-16, dealing with lift repairs or checking on new installations. The traffic on this road can get pretty bad during peak hours, so we try to head out early. Our office isn't anything fancy, just a practical space where we keep our tools and spare parts. People in the neighborhood know us as the elevator guys. It's a lot of manual work, getting grease on our hands and climbing into machine rooms. We started small and just kept at it, year after year. Sometimes the monsoon makes work a bit tricky with the power cuts and all, but we manage. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of staff, just a group of us who know how to fix things. We handle the paperwork here too, sitting at old desks with files piled up. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till night. Bangalore is growing so fast, and there are always more buildings going up that need lifts. We just focus on what's in front of us, making sure the units we look after keep moving. If you walk down Kuvempu Road, you'll see our sign. It's been there for a long time. We like being part of the local K.R Puram community.
