Orient Furniture is right across from the Kanteerava Stadium on Rajaram Mohan Roy Road. It’s a pretty easy place to spot if you’re heading that way. We’ve got all sorts of furniture crammed into the space here. Sometimes it feels like there’s barely enough room to walk between the tables and wardrobes, but we manage. People come in looking for something sturdy for their homes, and we show them what we have on the floor. There is usually a bit of sawdust around because that’s just the nature of the business. We aren't one of those high-end showrooms where everything is perfectly lit and you’re afraid to touch anything. Here, you can sit on the chairs and see how they feel. We’ve been at this for a while now, and we know what people in the area are looking for. The noise from the stadium can get loud during events, but we’re used to it. It’s just me and a few others working here, making sure the deliveries get out and the stock stays full. We don’t use any fancy sales tactics or anything like that. If you like a piece of furniture, you buy it. It is as simple as that. We just want to provide decent stuff that lasts a long time without costing a fortune. We even help load things up if you've got your own truck. Just a regular furniture shop on a busy road.
