We are over at No.98 on the third floor of the Skylark Palazzo building. If you know the Murugeshpalya area, you probably know how busy Airport Road gets most of the time. Orchid Shipping Pvt Ltd has been operating from this spot for a bit now. It is a bit of a climb to the third floor, but the view of the traffic is something else. Most days here are just about sorting through papers and making sure the shipping schedules are tight. We handle a lot of different things coming in and out. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we get the work done. You'll usually see a few of us drinking tea near the window when there is a break. Shipping is a lot of waiting and then a lot of rushing, that's just the nature of the business. Murugeshpalya is a decent place to be located because everything is fairly connected. We don't really do the big corporate talk here, we just focus on the containers and the routes. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power cuts out for a minute, but we manage. People come by to drop off documents or ask about their cargo. It gets loud outside with the planes and the cars, but inside we just keep our heads down and work. That is basically what we are about, just a small team in an office on Airport Road.
