Opus Architects

You can find us over at Boopasandra, specifically on the 1st Main Road off Magadi Main Road at number 5. It is a busy spot to be in, and the sound of the traffic on Magadi Road is something we have just learned to live with. The office is a straightforward space where we do most of our thinking and drawing. We have a few computers that are usually running hot with design software, and a big table in the center that is almost always covered in site maps and yellow legal pads filled with notes. It’s not a fancy setup, but it gets the job done. We usually start the day by catching up on what happened at the various sites the day before. There is always some issue with a supplier or a change that needs to be made to a drawing. We spend a lot of time just working through these small problems one by one. Being in Boopasandra means we are close to a lot of the projects we handle, so we are often running out the door to go see a contractor or look at a foundation. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to answer the phones with a script. It’s just us doing the work, making mistakes, fixing them, and trying to keep everything moving forward. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s just how it goes here. We try to keep our feet on the ground and our drawings accurate.
