Optics & Allied Engg. Pvt Ltd

We have been at Optics & Allied Engg. Pvt Ltd at C-86 in the ITI Industrial Estate for quite some time now. Being right on Whitefield Road in Mahadevapura means there is always traffic and noise outside our gates. Inside, we just focus on the optics and engineering work we have for the day. It is a busy place. Most of the guys here have been with us for years. We handle a lot of different glass and metal parts. Sometimes the machines act up. The power fluctuates too. That is just part of being in this area. We don't really do much fancy stuff. If someone needs an optical component or some engineering piece made, they usually find their way to our door. It is not a very pretty office. It's just a workspace filled with tools and blueprints. We spend most of our mornings checking the schedules. We make sure the lathes and grinders are ready to go. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we started. All these big tech parks are popping up around Mahadevapura now. We just stick to what we know. It is dusty work. We drink tea in the afternoons and talk about what needs to be finished by Friday. There are no big speeches here. It's just people doing their jobs. We keep the floor clean as much as possible, though metal shavings get everywhere. It’s just how things go. We keep it simple.
