Optics & Allied Engg. Pvt Ltd (Group of Gaggione-France)

We’re located at 90, 1st Phase on Jigani Link Road. It’s a busy industrial area, so there’s always trucks and noise around. Our company, Optics & Allied Engg. Pvt Ltd, is part of the Gaggione group from France, but on the ground here, it’s just us doing the daily grind. We work with lenses and engineering stuff. The shop floor is where most of the action happens. It’s not always pretty, especially when things are running at full tilt. We spend a lot of time checking measurements and making sure the machines are doing what they’re supposed to do. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon gets a bit much, but we have our fans going. It’s a practical setup. We aren't big on fancy speeches or brochures. We just focus on the pieces we’re making. Being on the Link Road means we’re easy to find if you know the area. Our team has been around for a bit, so we know our way around the equipment. It’s honest work. Sometimes we have to wait on shipments or deal with power cuts, but we get through it. It’s a mix of local hands and some of that French design influence, but mostly it’s just hard work every day. We don’t really bother with the corporate polish. We’d rather just get the parts out the door. We usually have a bit of a meeting in the morning to see what needs doing, then everyone just goes to their station. It’s a solid routine.
