Opted Voluntary Retirement

We operate out of a house in Maruthi Nagar, specifically at No. 19 on the 4th Cross. It's a residential area in Chandra Layout, so it's usually peaceful except for the occasional street vendor passing by. The company name is Opted Voluntary Retirement, which pretty much tells you what we deal with. It's run by H.G. Maruthi and a couple of others. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees or anything like that. We just sit in this quiet corner of Bangalore and handle things as they come. Most of the time, we are just helping folks navigate the piles of paperwork that come after they leave their long-term jobs. It’s not flashy work, but it’s necessary for people around here. The house has a small porch where we sometimes sit and talk to visitors when the weather is nice. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably just find us at the desk with the window open. We’ve lived in this neighborhood for ages. We know the streets and the people. We started this because there was a need for some practical help with retirement stuff. We don't promise anything grand. We just take it day by day and try to be useful to the people who walk through our door. It’s a simple setup, just the way we like it. Bangalore has changed a lot lately, but this little street stays mostly the same.
