One Distance Education

We have been operating One Distance Education out of Bangalore City, right here in the 560002 zip code, for some time now. It is a straightforward setup. We don't have fancy leather chairs or a receptionist in a suit. Most days it’s just a few of us sitting at our desks helping people who want to continue their studies while they keep their day jobs. People come in from all over the city, but we are easy to find since we are right in the central part of Bangalore. The office is usually filled with stacks of forms and brochures for different courses. It gets quite busy around the time when applications are due. We spend a lot of time on the phone explaining how the distance learning process works to parents and working professionals. It isn't a flashy business, just a place where you can get your questions answered about different programs. We started this because we noticed how many people needed a bit of extra help navigating the paperwork for their degrees. The traffic outside can get loud, but inside we just focus on getting the registrations done correctly. Sometimes we stay late when there is a deadline coming up. It's just part of the job. We know the local area well and have seen many students come through our doors, get their materials, and move on to better things. It feels good to see them succeed in their careers later on.
