Our shop is at 613/40/1 in Prakash Nagar. You’ll probably smell the rubber before you see the sign. We have stacks of tyres everywhere, from small ones for scooters to big ones for trucks. It’s heavy work and our clothes usually get dirty by the end of the day. There’s always the sound of tools and air compressors going off. We spend a lot of time on our feet, checking treads and fixing punctures. It’s not a quiet place, but we like the pace. People come in because they have a flat or they’ve worn their old ones down to nothing. We show them what we have in stock and get to work. We don't do much talking, mostly just focusing on the task. Prakash Nagar is a tight neighborhood, and we’ve been in this spot for quite some years. The floor is concrete and usually has some grease on it. We keep a few chairs for customers to sit while they wait, but most people just stand around and watch us work. It’s honest, physical labor. We don’t have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. We just make sure your wheels are good to go before you drive off. That’s what matters at the end of the day. It’s a bit messy and loud, but that’s just how a tyre shop should be. We just keep working until the last car leaves the area.
