You can find us at 94/1 Indra Nagar in the Basavanagudi area. It’s a nice, established neighborhood in Bangalore, and we’ve been part of it for some time now. Our shop is pretty straightforward. We don't have any big neon signs or fancy displays. It’s mostly just shelves filled with the various items we supply. The morning starts with us pulling up the metal shutters and getting the place ready for the day. Basavanagudi has a lot of history, so you see all kinds of people walking past our door. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to customers who come in looking for specific parts or supplies. The desk in the corner is always covered in sticky notes and old invoices. It might look a bit messy to an outsider, but we know exactly where everything is. We don't have a large team, just a few of us who handle everything from cleaning the floor to doing the accounts. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit by the door and wait for it to come back on while talking to the neighbors. It’s a slow and steady kind of business. We aren't trying to change the world; we are just making sure our customers get what they need. It’s a good, honest way to spend the day in a part of town we really like. There is a small tea shop nearby that we visit every morning before we start work. The neighborhood feels like home.
