Office Of Cognitive Design (ocd)

Our office, which we call OCD for short, is located at Raja Sabha on Kasturba Cross Road. It’s just off Lavelle Road, near the old Airlines Hotel. It’s a nice part of town, even if it gets incredibly crowded on the weekends. We work on design stuff, and our space reflects that—it’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but it’s a creative mess. We aren't a big corporate entity with layers of management. It’s just a few of us here at the Office Of Cognitive Design trying to make things look and work better for people. We spend a lot of time brainstorming and sketching out ideas on whatever scrap of paper is nearby. We don't use a lot of jargon when we talk to folks. We just say what we think will work and what won't. Sometimes we get it right on the first try, and other times we have to go back to the drawing board and start over. It’s all part of the process. Being near Airlines Hotel is great for quick meetings or just grabbing a bite when we’ve been working too long. We don't have a formal dress code or anything like that. We just focus on the projects and try to keep things moving without making a big fuss about it. It’s a pretty grounded place to work, and we like the independence we have here.
