Nuchem Impex

We are Nuchem Impex, based over at New Tharagpet 34. This area is always crowded with carts and laborers moving heavy stuff around. Our place is tucked into one of the older buildings on the street. It’s a bit of a maze to find us if you’re not from around here. We deal with various chemicals and raw materials. The smell of the warehouse is something you get used to after a week of working here. It’s mostly paperwork and coordinating with the guys at the docks or the trucks. My desk is usually piled high with ledgers and old receipts. We don’t use much technology besides a basic phone and a laptop for sending emails. It’s a traditional way of doing business. We’ve been at this address for a long time, so the local tea seller knows exactly when to bring our tray in the morning. We don't have a showroom. It’s just an office and some storage space in the back. People come here to discuss orders and check the prices for the month. We don't have any sales pitches or brochures. We just tell them what we have and what it costs today. It’s straightforward. Some days are slow, especially when the weather is bad and the trucks are delayed somewhere on the highway. Other days, we can’t even find a minute to sit down. We like being in New Tharagpet because everyone in the trade is right here. It’s a tight-knit community of traders and brokers. We usually lock up around six.
