No Company

People often ask what we call ourselves, but honestly, there isn’t a big sign or a formal name on the door here in Bebuluru, Karnataka. We just sort of operate out of this space and everyone around here knows who we are and what we do. It’s a quiet enough part of Karnataka, though things are changing slowly. We started out just doing small bits of work for the neighbors and it eventually grew into something that takes up most of our day. We don’t have a website or any of those fancy things that bigger places have. Our setup is pretty basic, with a few desks and some storage space for the materials we use. The building is an older one, so it stays cool in the summer but the roof leaks a tiny bit when the monsoon rains get really heavy. We just put a bucket under it and keep working. Most of our day is spent talking to people who walk in or calling up folks we’ve known for years. It’s a simple way of doing things and it works for us. We don't feel the need to have a big corporate identity or anything like that. As long as the work gets done and we can pay the bills, we are happy enough. Bebuluru is a good place to be if you like a slower pace.
