Nk Laws, Akme Projects Ltd.

We are located on the second floor over in Gokula. 8th Main is usually busy with people moving around. It is the first stage of the area. We work on projects and legal stuff. It is mostly reading through documents and making sure everything is in order. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow. We have thought about moving but we like being in this part of Bangalore. It is near the 3rd Cross. Most of the staff has been here for a long time. We aren't a huge corporation with thousands of employees. It is just a handful of us sitting at desks. There are a lot of files everywhere. Law stuff always involves a lot of paper. Sometimes the printer jams and someone has to spend twenty minutes fixing it. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, just a regular kettle in the corner. People stop by to discuss their cases or project details. We listen and write things down. It is quiet work for the most part, except when the traffic gets bad outside. The windows look out onto the street. We see the same fruit seller every morning. We just focus on getting the tasks done. There is no special secret to how we work. We just show up, do the research, and help where we can. It is a steady routine. We take lunch breaks together sometimes. Then it’s back to the paperwork.
