Nivas Exports

Nivas Exports is located over in Gugai, which is part of Salem. Our place is on Muniappan Koil 2nd Street, at number 8. It’s a busy little street and we’ve been here for quite some time now. We mainly handle export goods, which involves a lot of packing and moving boxes around. Salem is known for its industries, and we are right in the middle of it. The building we are in is an old one, but it serves us well for what we do. We have a few people who help with the sorting and the shipping details. It’s a lot of manual work and making sure everything is labeled correctly before it leaves. Sometimes the trucks have a hard time getting down the narrow street, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We aren't a big corporation; it’s more of a local operation where everyone knows their job. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements. Most of our business comes from long-standing relationships we’ve built up. It’s a lot of long hours, especially when there’s a big shipment due. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished. If you walk down 2nd Street, you’ll likely see us busy at the warehouse. It’s a simple life and we like the rhythm of the export business.
