Nimishambha Ali Fabs

We run our fabrication shop in Rajajinagar, right near the Mansuri Maszid. It is a lively neighborhood and we have been at number 24 for a long time. You can hear the sounds of the workshop from all the way down the street—lots of cutting and metal work going on. We do a variety of fabrication jobs, mostly stuff people need for their houses or small local shops. My brother and I handle the orders, and we have a couple of guys who help us with the actual manual labor. The space is filled with tools, scraps of metal, and finished pieces waiting to be picked up by customers. It gets pretty hot inside during the afternoon, so we usually take a short break when the sun is at its peak. We have a lot of locals who just drop by to ask if we can fix a broken gate or weld a small frame for them. We do not have a big sign or anything like that, people just know we are here. The mosque nearby is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. We try to keep things tidy, but a workshop is always going to have some mess on the floor. We have been part of this community for years, and we know most of the other shopkeepers on this block. It is a busy life, but we like working with our hands.
