Nimbus Imports

I’ve been working here at Nimbus Imports for a while now. We’re tucked away on Mahathma Gandhi Road, right near Museum Road 209. It’s a busy spot but we like it here. People often ask what we do exactly. Mostly, we just handle the bringing in of different items that shops around here need. It’s a lot of paperwork and checking boxes, honestly. The office isn't anything fancy. We have a few desks and a lot of folders piled up. My cousin started this place years back because he knew people who wanted things from outside that were hard to find. We don't have a giant warehouse or anything, just a steady flow of crates coming and going. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the traffic on MG Road, which everyone knows can be a nightmare during the day. We just try to keep things moving. It’s just a handful of us working here. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay organized. If you walk past the museum, you’ve probably seen our sign. It’s nothing big. We don't really do much advertising. Most people find us because someone told them we could help with a specific order. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until we close up in the evening. There’s always another shipment to track or a form to fill out for the customs guys. That's just how the days go here.
