Nikhil Mukunda Photography

Nikhil Mukunda Photography is based out of the 2nd Block in Jayanagar. We are located near Ashoka Palace, which is a pretty well-known landmark in this part of town. Our studio isn't a massive warehouse like some people might expect; it’s a more comfortable, lived-in space. We have cameras, tripods, and light stands tucked into various corners. Usually, there’s a backdrop set up in the middle of the room, and some days there are cords running all over the floor. It’s a place where we spend a lot of time looking at screens and trying to get the colors just right. Jayanagar is a nice area to work in, with plenty of trees and a bit of a local feel despite all the changes over the years. We often walk to get coffee or a quick bite at the nearby shops. When we aren't out at a shoot, this is where all the editing and planning happens. It gets a bit messy when we have a lot of gear to clean or organize after a long day out. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who really like taking photos. People sometimes drop by to look at prints or talk about an event they have coming up. We keep things relaxed here. There’s usually some music playing in the background while we work through the files. It’s a simple setup, but it’s ours and we are comfortable with how it works.
