Niit, Kottayam, Kerala

NIIT is over in Indiranagar 2nd Stage, Bangalore, at No:110, 6th Cross, 10th Main. Even though the name mentions Kottayam, Kerala, this is where we are currently based for this branch's work. Indiranagar is a lively place to be, always something happening outside the window. We mostly focus on training and education, so we have students coming in and out all day long. It makes the place feel very energetic, though it can get a bit loud when classes are letting out. Our rooms are set up with rows of computers and whiteboards that are usually covered in notes and diagrams. It’s a bit of an older building, but it has character and it serves its purpose well. We spend a lot of time helping people learn new skills, which keeps us on our toes. The staff here is pretty friendly; we’ve worked together long enough that we know how everyone takes their coffee. We don't go for any of that high-pressure sales talk. We just show people what we have and let them decide. The 10th Main area is great for food, so lunch breaks are usually the highlight of the day. It’s just a normal school-like environment where we try to keep things organized and helpful for everyone who walks through the door at 6th Cross. We’re just a bunch of teachers and tech folks doing our daily bit.
