We are located out in Kumbalgodu, in the 2nd Phase of the KIADB Industrial Area. Our unit is 3B. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, so the mornings are usually spent commuting. The industrial area is full of different factories, so there’s always the sound of heavy vehicles and machinery in the background. Our space is divided between a small office area and the actual floor where the heating elements are handled. It’s a practical building with high roofs to keep it relatively cool. We have a lot of metal coils and testing equipment scattered around. The floor is concrete and has some scuffs from moving crates around over the years. We usually have a small crew working the machines. There isn't much in the way of decoration, just some calendars on the wall and a few safety posters. We drink a lot of tea to keep going, especially during the long afternoon shifts. Sometimes the power fluctuates, which is just part of being in an industrial zone. We handle the technical side of things at the desks near the front. It’s a straightforward operation. We focus on the specs and make sure the parts are right before they go out. No one here is looking to impress anyone; we just want to get the work done correctly.
