New Praveen Times

New Praveen Times is located at No.2949 in the Rajajinagar 2nd Stage area. This part of town has a lot of houses and schools, so it feels a bit more like a community than the commercial hubs. My shop is focused on watches. I’ve got all kinds of timepieces here, from the ones you wear on your wrist to the big ones that hang on a wall. The place isn't very large, so every inch of wall space is used for something. I spend most of my hours behind the small workbench with a magnifying glass. People bring in their old watches that stopped working years ago, hoping I can get them ticking again. Sometimes I can, sometimes parts are just too hard to find. The shop has a large window in the front that lets in a good amount of sunlight during the morning. I’ve got a couple of old chairs for customers to sit on while they wait. The floor is a bit uneven in one corner, but it doesn’t bother anyone. I don't really do any marketing or fancy promotions. People in Rajajinagar just know I’m here. They stop by on their way home from work or when they’re out running errands. It’s a quiet life, mostly just the sound of gears and the occasional customer coming in to ask for a new strap or a quick cleaning. I like the pace of it and the people I meet every day.
