You can find New India Electricals Ltd. at Desai House on J.C. Road. This part of town is always packed, and it has been the home of our business for a long time. J.C. Road has a certain energy to it, with all the shops and people constantly moving around. We are in the electrical trade, so our days are filled with cables, switches, and motors. It’s a bit of a traditional setup here. We have a lot of walk-in customers and people we have known for decades. Desai House is an old building, but it works for us. We don't have a modern, glass-walled office. It’s more about shelves filled with supplies and desks piled with ledgers. Our staff knows electrical parts inside and out. If someone comes in with a weird request, usually one of the older guys knows exactly what they need. We’ve seen the technology change from simple wiring to more complex systems, and we’ve had to learn along the way. Sometimes the noise from the street gets a bit much, but you get used to it. We don’t do much advertising because most people in the electrical circle already know where we are. We just focus on keeping the right items in stock and giving people a fair price. It’s a simple way of doing things, and it’s served us well all these years.
