New Era Interior Collection is on the first floor at 21/1 Bannerghatta Road. We are near the Mico back gate, which is the easiest way to tell people how to find us. The road outside is 3 X H K Road, and it is always packed with cars and bikes. Being on the first floor gives us a bit of a view of the chaos on Bannerghatta Road. Our space is filled with all kinds of interior samples, from fabrics to wood finishes. It is not a perfectly organized showroom; it is more of a working office where we figure out designs. There are catalogs everywhere and sometimes it is hard to find a clear spot on the table. We get a lot of noise from the street, but you get used to the constant honking after a while. Most of our day is spent talking to clients or checking on stock levels. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know the business well. The building itself is older and has its own quirks, like the occasional leaky pipe or a flickering light. We don't try to hide that it is a busy, messy workplace. It is where we do our thinking and planning. We stay late most nights to catch up on paperwork once the phones stop ringing. It is a honest way to earn a living in a very busy part of the city, surrounded by samples and sketches.
