New Bangalore Tyres has been sitting here at 51 Kalasipalyam on Nawab Hyder Ali Road for a good while. This road is always moving with buses and trucks going every which way. Our shop is right in the middle of that chaos. We deal with all kinds of tires. You will see them piled up inside and sometimes even out on the edge of the pavement if we are busy. It is a dirty job, and our hands are usually black from the rubber and the grime, but that is part of the trade. We do not have any air conditioning or fancy waiting rooms here. There are a couple of wooden benches if you need to sit down while we work on a wheel. We see everything from small scooters to big heavy-duty trucks coming through for a change or a patch. The noise from the traffic is constant, but you get used to it after a few years. We know the other shop owners on this stretch of Nawab Hyder Ali Road, and we all just do our own thing. We do not spend money on big signs or bright lights. Most people find us because they were driving by and had a problem, or their father told them to come here. We just focus on getting the tires fitted right so people can get back on the road. It is honest, heavy work that keeps us moving from morning until late evening.
