Nets & Blinds ( Sri Vadiraja Enterprises)

Down here at Banashankari 3rd Stage Maneja Crossing 40, things stay pretty busy with the nets and the blinds. My name is on the sign as Sri Vadiraja Enterprises, but most folks just call us Nets & Blinds. It’s a bit of a small space, usually filled with rolls of mesh and different fabrics for the windows. We spend a lot of time measuring things out and cutting them to size. If you walk past the shop, you’ll probably see a lot of dust from the materials. It’s a local neighborhood, so we see the same faces walking to the crossing every day. We don’t really do fancy ads or anything like that. We just have the samples sitting out so people can touch the material and see if it’s what they want for their house. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoons, so we have our own blinds up most of the time to keep it cool inside. We’ve been at this spot for a good bit now, and we know the shortcuts around the 3rd Stage pretty well. Sometimes we’re out at people's houses doing the fitting, and other times we’re just sitting here waiting for the next delivery to arrive. It’s straightforward work and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. It’s just about keeping the bugs out and the sun away so people can be comfortable at home.
