Nethra Jyothi Eye Care Clinic

I’ve been around this part of Bangalore for years, and Nethra Jyothi Eye Care Clinic has its home right here in GM Palya. We are on the first floor of building 15/2, which is literally right across from the Nandini Bakery. If you’re taking the bus, you just hop off at the GM Palya bus stop and we are right there. It’s a busy stretch of road, especially in the mornings when everyone is out for their milk and bread. The clinic itself is simple. We don't have any of those flashy lights or big advertisements. It’s just a place where people come to get their eyes checked. Climbing the stairs to the first floor is a bit of a daily workout for me. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, but inside we just focus on the work. We see a lot of familiar faces from the neighborhood. It’s nice because you get to know the families living nearby. The space is a bit tight when it gets crowded, but people are patient. We usually have the fan going full blast during the summer months. It’s just a regular local clinic. Nothing more, nothing less. Being opposite the bus stop means we get a lot of people just dropping in to ask questions. We try to be helpful. It’s just how things work in this part of town. We’ve been here long enough that most people just use us as a landmark now.
