We have our setup over at 3/B on the Pune Satara Road in Kumbalagodu. It’s pretty easy to find if you look for the Sri Padmini Silks shop because we are right near there. We spend our days dealing with thermal manufacturing stuff. It is a busy place and the floor stays pretty active from morning until evening. We don’t have any of those fancy waiting rooms or sleek offices you see in the city. It is just a workspace with some desks and a lot of equipment. We handle metal and various parts that need to withstand heat. Most of the people working here have been with us for a long time. We know each other’s families and what everyone likes for lunch. The traffic on the road can be a real headache in the mornings but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We aren't much for fancy words or big speeches. We just show up, do the work that needs doing, and try to keep things running smooth. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend the afternoon fixing them ourselves. It is just a regular local business trying to do a decent job for our customers. We like being in Kumbalagodu. It feels like a real community where people actually know their neighbors. We just keep our heads down and focus on the manufacturing side of things. It's a steady life and we wouldn't have it any other way.
