Neha Veterinary Clinic

This vet clinic is over in Nehru Nagar on 4th Main. We are on the first floor at No.2. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs if you have a heavy dog, but we help out when we can. Nehru Nagar is a quiet enough area most days, which is nice for the animals. We have a small space here for checking on pets and giving them their shots. Most of our visitors are locals who live a few streets away. It’s just a simple setup with a table and some medical supplies. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Sometimes the waiting area gets a bit cramped if three people show up at once with their pets. I usually have the radio playing softly in the background to keep things relaxed for the cats. We handle the basic stuff like checkups and medicines. If a pet is really sick, we do what we can. It’s a neighborhood place, through and through. We know the names of most of the dogs that walk past our building. Being on the first floor gives us a good view of the street, though we're usually too busy to look out the window much. It's honest work and we like the animals. We keep a ledger for the appointments and some treats in a jar for the good patients. The air feels a bit cooler up here on the first floor than it does on the street. It’s just us here, doing our daily tasks.
