If you look for No.51, Bikasipura Main Road, you will find Neel Kamal Agency. It’s a straightforward place on a road that has seen a lot of changes lately. There are more shops opening up now but we have stayed pretty much the same. The front door sticks a little bit in the monsoon season so you have to give it a good push. Inside it is mostly shelves and a counter where we talk to anyone who drops by. We do not have many fancy decorations. There are some old calendars on the wall and a clock that is always five minutes fast but we never bother to fix it. Usually, one of us is sitting there checking the stock or writing down orders in a big notebook. The traffic on Bikasipura Main Road can get quite loud in the evenings when everyone is heading home but during the day it is okay. We like being on the main road because it makes it easy for the delivery vans to find us even if parking is a bit of a headache. We know most of the regular people who pass by. It is just a small operation here. We handle the paperwork, pack things up, and make sure everything gets where it needs to go without too much fuss. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
